NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's tennis team (2-0) opened the 2020 spring season with two victories, both of which came in sweeps, as the Tennis Monarchs downed Georgetown (0-1) and Hampton (0-1) by 7-0 scores.
"It was exactly what we needed to start the season," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "We were a little rusty in executing especially in the first match, but that's why we schedule these double headers early in the season to get the rust off. It was great to play a lot of tennis and win all the matches.
