NORFOLK, Va. -The Old Dominion men's tennis team improved to 4-1 on the season after taking down Elon (0-4) by a 4-2 score as part of the 12th Annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kickoff Weekend at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center in Chapel Hill, N.C.
"This was a great bounce back win after yesterday," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller.
"Elon won the CAA last year and has postseason experience. We had to overcome a lot of adversity today and I'm proud of how we faced them. Losing the doubles point again after losing yesterday, I thought we came out ready and singles and took control of the match.
