RICHMOND | Luc Fatton notched a hat trick as Virginia Commonwealth beat the Old Dominion men’s soccer team 5-1 on Tuesday in the Monarchs’ first road game of the season.
CJ Taylor put ODU on the board in the sixth minute before Fatton scored three goals over a six-minute span midway through the first half.
Jorge Herranz and Rafael Santos scored in the second half for VCU (2-5-0).
ODU (3-3-1) next travels to Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday.
