NORFOLK, Va. - In the Monarchs Conference USA opener, the Old Dominion (0-3-1, 0-0-1 C-USA) men's soccer team played UAB (1-3-1, 0-01 C-USA) to a 1-1 draw after 110 minutes of action. Freshman Simon Falck knocked in his first career goal in the 25th minute and the Monarchs lone goal of the night.
ODU held a 6-1 advantage in shots through the first 45 minutes of play, including Falck's goal, which was served from Jimmy Filerman.
The Monarchs went into the locker room at halftime with a 1-0 lead. To open the second half, Falck received a red card, which ejected him out of the game.
