Lucas Del Rosario scored both North Carolina goals Tuesday night, including the winner in the second overtime, to lift the No. 4 Tar Heels to a 2-1 victory over Old Dominion in a nonconference men’s soccer game.
After a scoreless first half, Max Wilschrey gave ODU (7-3-2) the lead by converting a pass from CJ Taylor. It was Wilschrey’s sixth goal of the season.
Del Rosario tied it in the 88th minute.
Keeper Mertcan Akar posted a season-high 10 saves for Old Dominion, which has lost two in a row following a four-game win streak.
