RICHMOND, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's golf team opened up its fall slate with an 11th-place finish at the Janney VCU Shootout at the Tuckahoe Creek Country Club in Richmond on Tuesday.
After a slow start in yesterday's opening round, the Monarchs were a combined 6-under par for the final two rounds. As a team, Old Dominion shot a 6-under in yesterday's second round, before finishing today with an even-par round for a final score of 10-over par.
Chad Hess (+2) posted the best finish for ODU, finishing in a tie for 28th after firing a 2-under round on Tuesday.
