NORFOLK, Va. – Former Tennis Monarch Zvonimir Podvinski (Zagreb, Croatia) has joined the Old Dominion’s women’s tennis staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, as announced by ODU head coach Dom Manilla.
“I am very thankful to be on the women’s tennis staff here at ODU, as this is a wonderful opportunity that Dom and Toni have given me, because being around them will make me a better person, as well as coach,” said Podvinski. “Tennis has been my life for as long as I can remember and I love coaching and seeing players improve.”
Originally from Zagreb, Croatia, Podvinski played for Old Dominion from 2012-16 under former Monarch head coach Aljosa Piric and served as a team captain for his senior campaign.
