MANHEIM, Pa. - Michael McGee from the Old Dominion wrestling team was named a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division I Scholar All-American as announced Thursday evening.
McGee is two-time MAC Champion, who owns a 3.45 GPA in Sport Management. The Illinois native finished the 2019 season with a 31-6 record and a 16-0 mark in duals. The sophomore made his second trip to the NCAA Championships this season, where e made it to the round of 12 at 125 pounds.
Also named to the MAC All-Academic Team, McGee is a two-time Dean's List member.
