SMYRNA, Del. – Junior Michael McGee finished first at 133 pounds while four other Old Dominion wrestlers placed at the 2020 National Collegiate Open on Sunday, March 1 at Smyrna High School.
"This was a great showing from our guys," head coach Steve Martin said of his wrestlers' performances. "I think it's a good indicator of the future moving forward as we look to replace quite a bit of senior production."
McGee, last season's Mid-American Conference (MAC) champion at 125 pounds, earned four wins to come out on top in the 133-pound bracket.
