WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Five Old Dominion wrestlers competed this week at the Wilkes Open at Wilkes University, including freshman Luke Drugac who claimed third place in the 165 bracket.
At 149, freshman Will Verallis posted a 2-2 record after picking up wins over opponents from Lehigh and Buffalo.
Luke Drugac earned his first top four finish at a collegiate open by placing third at 165. The freshman from Hibernia, New Jersey earned three consecutive victories to start the day before falling in the semis to Lehigh's Cole Walter. In the consolations, Drugac posted back-to-back wins over opponents from Roger Williams and Buffalo to claim third place.
