Brian Morley's two-out, two-run single triggered a seven-run outburst in the seventh and eighth innings as Old Dominion rallied for an 8-3 victory over Saint Louis in its baseball season opener Friday at Osceola Heritage Park.

The Monarchs trailed 3-1 heading into the seventh, but Bryce Windham singled to lead off the bottom of the inning and Matt Schwarz drew a one-out walk before Morley's hit tied it. Culver Lamb (Tallwood) then reached on an error, which plated two runs to give ODU a 5-3 lead.

Old Dominion added three more runs in the eighth, including an RBI each from Lamb and Will Morgan.
