HAMPTON, Va. -- Old Dominion third baseman Culver Lamb has been named to the VaSID First Team All-State squad, as announced on Tuesday and chosen by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID).
During his senior campaign, Lamb led ODU in nine offensive categories, including home runs (9), RBIs (30), extra-base hits (20), runs (34) and slugging percentage (.517). The Virginia Beach native also hit .310, which ranked fourth on the club, while his nine home runs were the most by a Monarch since Ben Verlander hit 11 in 2013.
Lamb started all but one game, playing first base, third base, outfield and DH.
