Lady Monarchs Fall at No. 49 William & Mary, 5-2

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s tennis team (10-8) fell to No. 49 nationally ranked William & Mary by a 5-2 score on Saturday at the Millie West Tennis Facility. ODU was without its two nationally ranked players No. 90 Holly Hutchinson and No. 91 Borislava Botusharova. Saturday marked Senior Day for the Tribe.

Nataliia Vlasova made quick work out of Rosie Cheng in No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-1).

Also claiming victory for the Lady Monarchs was Natalya Malenko, who was too much for Natalia Perry in No. 3 singles (6-4, 3-6, 7-6).

Old Dominion will be back in action for the regular season and home finale on Sunday, April 16 at noon, when the Lady Tennis Monarchs welcome James Madison to the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
