NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion lacrosse team was defeated by Quinnipiac, 16-11 on Wednesday afternoon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
Senior Glory Johnson got the scoring started on a free-position shot, giving the Monarchs an early 1-0 lead. After Quinnipiac tied the game, Brooke Stein took a pass from Lilly Siskind and beat Bobcat goalkeeper Allie Kelsey to give ODU a 2-1 lead with 22:16 left on the first-half clock.
Quinnipiac jumped over ODU on the scoreboard after rattling off three straight goals in about a four-minute span to take a two-goal lead.
