Kansas State pounds out 18 hits, 11 runs in rout of ODU baseball team

Kansas State collected 18 hits Friday, rolling to an 11-3 victory over Old Dominion in the opener of a three-game series at Bud Metheny Complex.

The Big 12's Wildcats scored three runs in the third inning and four in the fourth off Monarchs starter Jim Fluke (0-1). He went five innings and allowed seven runs – two earned – on 11 hits.
