MANHATTAN, Kan. — Jordan Wicks pitched seven shutout innings and Chris Ceballos hit a three-run homer as Kansas State snapped Old Dominion’s win streak at nine games with a 6-2 victory on Saturday.
Wicks allowed two hits and struck out four to earn the win.
The Monarchs (10-3) scored both of their runs in the eighth inning on Kyle Battle’s two-run double.
ODU had only three other hits in the game, though.
Monarchs starter Morgan Maguire allowed five runs (four earned) in 5u2154 innings.
The teams will finish their three-game series at 2 p.
