NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s basketball head coach Jeff Jones has named Kelvin Jefferson an assistant coach. Jefferson served an assistant coach under Jones at American University from 2001-05.
“I am very excited to have Kelvin Jefferson join our coaching staff,” Jones said. “Kelvin was my assistant coach at American University for four years and we enjoyed a lot of success together on the court and on the recruiting trail. Kelvin had a big role in recruiting the foundation of my AU teams that went to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments. He brings an engaging personality, a tireless work ethic, a great background in recruiting nationally and has really grown as an on-court coach.
