Sophomore Jessica Munoz
Sophomore forward Jessica Munoz has been granted permission to transfer from the Old Dominion women's basketball program, the school announced Monday.
“Jess has decided to leave the team for personal reasons,” head coach Nikki McCray-Penson said in a statement released by the school. “Jess is first and foremost a great person of character, a great teammate and represented our team and university the right way on and off the floor. We wish nothing but the best for Jess and her family.”
Munoz, who is from Texas, averaged 2.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in nine games this season for the Monarchs, who return to action Thursday and Friday at the Las Vegas Holidays Hoops Classic.
