NORFOLK, Va. - Erin Huffman scored twice as Old Dominion University Field Hockey overcame an early deficit to defeat Richmond 4-2 Sunday afternoon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
Richmond (0-5) scored two minutes into the contest on a corner with a goal by Florentine Beelaerts van Blokland. Eight minutes later Old Dominion (3-3) tied the score as Huffman netted her first goal of the game on a shot to the left of the goalie.
Amie Olton gave the Monarchs the lead shortly after with a goal off a corner, with the assists to Danielle Grega and Rebecca Birch.
