Throughout the summer ODUSports.com will talk to coaches and student-athletes to get to know them better. Today's Q&A is with sophomore safety, Sean Carter. A walk-on, Carter finished sixth on the team with 48 tackles and recovered two fumbles.
Q: Last year you came in low on the depth chart and ended up playing a lot. How were you able to go from where you started, to seeing a lot of time on the field?
SC: I knew once I got my school work together, I wasn’t sure how much I was going to play, but I knew that I could play and that I could compete every day.
