In full pads on a steamy morning, ODU practiced for 19 periods, including a second day of on-field prep work for the season-opener against Albany.
In team drills, the defense hung tough stopping the offense three out of four times in red zone drills. Miles Fox earned a tackle for loss, while Daniel Appouh and Marcus Haynes delivered sacks. Blake LaRussa tossed a six-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Woods.
