CHANDLER, Ariz. -- The Old Dominion field hockey team came in at No. 23 in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division I Preseason Poll, released on Tuesday.
Head coach Andrew Griffiths and the Monarchs return nine starters and 16 letterwinners from a season ago, while also welcoming eight newcomers. Last season, ODU compiled a 7-10 record, including a signature victory over eventual national champion Delaware.
