LANCASTER, Pa. -- A total of eight Old Dominion field hockey players will compete in next week's 2018 Young Women's National Championship in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, from June 25-29. The event is held at Spooky Nook Sports, the home of USA Field Hockey.

The YWNC is an annual event featuring the most elite female field hockey athletes in the country, including top collegiate and post-collegiate players.
Over the spring, select athletes tried out and trained at USA Field Hockey Regional High Performance sites throughout the country for an opportunity to earn a roster position.
