“The Ted” is apparently only getting better with age.
Old Dominion’s on-campus arena, the 14-year-old Ted Constant Center, again scored high in an industry ranking, coming in as the No.1 venue under 10,000 seats on a college campus, No.5 in the nation and No.17 in the world.
Pollstar Magazine, which covers the worldwide concert industry, announced the findings in its year-end report.
The rankings are based on worldwide ticket sales to concerts and shows. Revenue from ODU athletic events is not included.
The Constant Center ranks 167th overall, up 29 spots from 2015.
The arena is managed by Spectra by Comcast Spectacor.
