Sebastien Hauret scored in the 47th minute and Fox Slotemaker scored in the 69th to tie the game for ODU before the Chanticleers (6-6-0) scored three unanswered goals to pull away.
The Monarchs (7-1-2) had won five straight and hadn't dropped a match since a Sept. 1 loss to Saint Francis (Pa.).
ODU travels to No. 4 North Carolina on Tuesday.
