NORFOLK, Va. -- Passionate, dynamic, inspiring and coach of the Old Dominion women’s basketball team, Karen Barefoot is a master motivator, not only of teams, but also of individuals and organizations, encouraging them to succeed beyond even their own expectations. This week coach Barefoot is bringing her energy to Tidewater Performance as a feature speaker for National Women’s Health Week.
Barefoot's seminar is part one of a four part series at Tidewater Performance's third annual Women’s Health Week Seminar and Workout series and is on "The Power of a Positive Attitude." Everyone from the community invited to learn more about what it takes to get and stay healthy from one of the most energetic and motivated people in the area, as the lecture will last 45 minutes and is followed by a 45 minute workout suited to the group.
