NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University center Nick Clarke was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List, given to the best center in the FBS.
A native of Mechanicsville, Va., Clarke played in all 12 games last season, starting nine. He helped running back Ray Lawry become the first Monarch to rush for 1,000 yards in a season.
Clarke earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors in 2015.
Clarke was named to the list along with five other C-USA centers, including Michael Montero (FIU), Dillon DeBoer (FAU), Daniel Stephens (Middle Tennessee), Cameron Tom (Southern Miss) and Max Halpin (WKU).
