HOUSTON, Texas – The No. 33 nationally ranked/No. 1 seed Old Dominion men’s tennis team (18-6) defeated No. 4 seed Southern Miss (19-4) by a 4-0 score in the Semifinals of the Conference USA Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
With the win, ODU advances to the Championship on Sunday and will take on the No. 3 seed Florida Atlantic. The Championship match will begin at noon EST.
Sunday marks the third consecutive season that Old Dominion has advanced to the Conference USA Championship match.
“It was a very hard fought match,” said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller.
