NORFOLK, Va. - Former Old Dominion University men’s basketball guard Ahmad Caver (Atlanta, Ga.) was named the Tom Scott Award Winner, the Norfolk Sports Club announced at their luncheon on Monday. The Tom Scott Award is given to ODU's top senior student-athlete as voted on by the Norfolk Sports Club.
“Winning the Tom Scott Award means a lot to me, all of the hard work and sacrifices I made in college paid off,” said Caver. “I’m glad some people are recognizing it and I will continue to grow as an athlete, as well as a human being.
