iNDIANAPOLIS -- Brackets for the 2017 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in St. Louis from March 16-18 were released tonight by the NCAA. Two Monarchs were awarded seeds, as Jack Dechow is the No. 8 seed at 184 while Kevin Beazley is the No. 10 seed at 197.
At 133, ODU's Alex Madrigal will face Illinois' eighth-seeded Zane Richards from Illinois in the first round.
Michael Hayes will take on a familiar MAC foe in Northern Illinois' No. 14 seed Steve Bleise. Hayes and Bleise have wrestled twice this season, including last week in the opening round of the MAC tournament in which Hayes dropped a 9-7 TB heartbreaker.
