FLORENCE, S.C. – Shahar Biran, a freshman on the Old Dominion women’s tennis team, won all three of her matches in the Singles Qualifying Draw to advance to the Main Draw of the ITF 25k in Florence at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center.
Biran (Hod HaSharon, Israel) ran threw the Qualifying Draw in straight sets. In the First Round of the Main Draw, Biran fell to Marcela Zacarias (Mexico), who has an ITF World Tennis Singles Ranking of 17 and a WTA Singles Ranking of 392.
Also competing in the ITF 25k in Florence from the Old Dominion women’s tennis team was fellow freshman Alexandra Viktorovich.
