BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Ryann Bauer of the Old Dominion lacrosse team was one of five Division I women's lacrosse finalists selected for the 2020 Yeardley Reynolds Love (YRL) Unsung Hero Awards, the One Love Foundation announced on Tuesday morning.
The YRL Unsung Hero Award recognizes the accomplishments of men's and women's collegiate lacrosse players from Divisions I, II and III who demonstrate dedication, integrity, humility, hard work, community service, leadership, kindness and sportsmanship.
Although Bauer didn't play this season due to injury, the senior was a vocal leader on the bench during both games and practices.
