39 Student-Athletes Earn C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal

IRVING, Texas – Old Dominion University had 39 student-athletes earn the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal during the 2016-17 academic year, Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced today. Medals are given to those C-USA student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.

A total of 672 student-athletes have earned the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal during the 2016-17 academic year, an 11 percent increase from a year ago.

UTSA had the most medal winners with 65, while Marshall had 64 and UAB third with 55. ODU had 39 Medal Winners.
