IRVING, TEXAS – Following the conclusion of the FIU vs. UAB soccer match the conference office announced the seeds and pairings for the 2016 Conference USA Men’s soccer tournament.
No. 5 Charlotte took the top seed and with it the first round bye. The 49ers finished the regular season 12-2-2 and went 7-1-0 against conference opponents.
The Monarchs will receive the 7th seed as the last team into the 2016 tournament. ODU is paired up with (RV) South Carolina, who received the number two seed, heading into next weeks tournament.
FIU claimed the third spot behind South Carolina, after the conference office sifted through the tiebreaking criteria to determine the pairings.
