New head coach Mike Boynton has his first big recruiting win: Four-star point guard Zack Dawson, the highest rated member of OSU’s 2017 recruiting class, is sticking with Oklahoma State according to Corey Evans of Rivals.
Dawson originally committed to Brad Underwood and his regime back in June of 2016, and signed his national letter of intent earlier this spring. Because Underwood left, forcing OSU to hire a new coach, many times the NCAA will release prospects from their letter of intent. But with Boynton being elevated to the head coaching position, and Lamont Evans staying on staff, Dawson is in the fold for the long haul.
