Samantha Show gave one of the best performances of her Oklahoma State career Thursday night.
The senior pitched a complete game and hit two solo home runs in No. 13-seeded OSU’s 2-1 win over fifth-seeded Florida for the Cowgirls first Women’s College World Series win since 1998.
Show wasted no time at all making her impact known at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City with a one-out homer over the right-center field wall in the top of the first inning.
Florida’s Jordan Roberts chomped back with a homer of her own to tie it 1-1 in the second.
