On Labor Day, when the much-awaited home opener was postponed, there was a sense in the air of COVID-19 already affecting Cowboy football.
“I saw it on the TV, and then I started telling everybody and that’s when they started posting about it,” Wallace said.
It was a crazy week of college football in the Big 12, most notably Brock Purdy and the Iowa State Cyclones falling to Louisiana by 17 points. The Kansas State Wildcats with Skylar Thompson under center went down by four against Arkansas State.
