DeAngelo Sanchez couldn’t sit still for long.
Donning his trademark purple — this time with a tie and a pinned ribbon to his black sweater vest — he was unmistakable behind Washington’s dugout at USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium.
He danced. He chanted. He celebrated every Washington play.
This all happened as he often featured a WWE-style championship belt featuring an LSU tiger.
LSU’s super fan arrived for the first time Thursday at the Women’s College World Series, bringing his joy and energy to whatever team requested his affiliation.
“I get so pumped up on each play and the girls feed off energy,” Sanchez said.
