Spring practice is rolling along and, in between snake-hunting tips, Mike Gundy was able to talk about maybe his biggest on-field addition for 2017 — former LSU wide receiver Tyron Johnson.
“Tyron’s done good,” Mike Gundy said “He has done great for us. He has bought into the OSU culture, the Cowboy culture. He’s been really good.”
Gundy knows the type of weapons he has returning at wide receiver to go along with Mason Rudolph and a budding star in Justice Hill. And Johnson just adds to that.
“It’s early,” said Gundy “and my coach told me a long time ago to be careful about drinking the Kool-Aid too early, but to this point, he’s been pretty impressive in practice with some of the plays he’s made.
