When I chatted with Oklahoma State cornerbacks coach Tim Duffie on Monday, he brought up some interesting points about recruiting. Despite all the movement of signing dates and when you can talk to players (and when you can’t) and everything else that goes into recruiting at the Power 5 level, one thing has remained constant.
Players are some of the most important recruiters you have, if not the most important.
“It’s no different from any other job,” said Duffie. “If the guys you’re coaching don’t like it, it’s going to be hard to get guys in.
