Three-star safety David Kabongo committed to Oklahoma State on Monday, becoming the Cowboys’ third safety commitment in the 2024 class. The No. 717 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings, Kabongo picked OSU over other finalists Kansas, SMU, Indiana and UTSA. He also had offers to schools like Texas, Texas Tech, Arizona State and others.
Listed at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds out of Bryon Nelson High School in Trophy Club, Texas, Kabongo had 64 total tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery this past season, according to MaxPreps.
