Not ready to match up
When OSU lost to Kansas two weeks ago, it was clear there was a talent gap. Brandon Garrison, the Cowboys' best player, is five years younger than Hunter Dickinson; Kansas' all-conference center. Most of OSU's roster is freshman or transfers not ready for the difference in difficulty of Big 12 basketball.
On Tuesday, it remained true. OSU shot 29% from the field while Kansas was 58%; aka twice as good.
