In its first Big 12 game of the season, Oklahoma State lost to No. 13 Texas, 60-51.
OSU got off to a slow start, being outscored 14-4 in the first quarter. Texas continued its momentum from the first frame and took a 33-16 lead into the half.
The Longhorns (11-2) led the whole game, including a game-high 20-point advantage midway through the fourth quarter.
The Cowgirls (9-3) then went on a 15-0 run to cut the Texas lead to five with just more than a minute to go, but the late burst fell short.
Braxtin Miller led all scorers with 18 points, and Vivian Gray had another 15 points for OSU.
