Oklahoma State will be in the afternoon slot for a second consecutive week when it travels to Ames, Iowa to take on Iowa State.
The Big 12 announced Monday morning that the Cowboys’ Week 9 outing against the Cyclones will fall in the 2:30 p.m. window on Oct. 26. The game will be carried on FS1.
OSU will also be in the afternoon window when it faces Baylor for homecoming at 3 p.m. on FOX this weekend.
Avoiding a late night kick in Ames seems like a win for OSU, especially given the last time it lost in Ames, in 2011, was a late kick (on a Friday night) that ended with OSU’s title hopes dying.
