STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy knew what he wanted in his new director of recruiting, and he found it with someone who was on his first coaching staff when he became the Cowboy coach in 2005.
Memories of time spent on the recruiting trail with his latest hire, Todd Bradford, played a role in Gundy’s decision.
“Back in those days, we could go out spring recruiting. You’d go, and he’d pick you up at the airport, take you to the hotel,” Gundy said. “From day one, he'd say, Alright, we're going to meet at 6:45 because we got to be at whatever school at 7:15 and here’s your paperwork on every school we’re going to tomorrow.
