No coach ever wants to see one of their players go down with an injury, especially when it's one of the top wide receivers in the country.
When Tylan Wallace tore his ACL in practice on Wednesday, offensive coordinator Sean Gleeson asked his players who will be the Z receiver.
Dillon Stoner immediately stepped up.
“He came right to the middle of that sideline huddle and looked me right in the eye and he goes ‘I’m playing Z,’” Gleeson said.
In the days before the Oklahoma State football team’s 34-27 win against TCU, Stoner became the new WR1.
