Gabby Sprang, the No. 3 overall recruit in the class of 2017, transferred to Oklahoma State from Tennessee after her freshman season.
Sprang led the Cowgirls to a 12-0 rout against Midwestern State on Sunday at Cowgirl Stadium.
Sprang pitched five innings and gave up zero earned runs on four hits. She set the tone for the rest of the pitching rotation, who only gave up five hits
“I liked being out there longer,” Sprang said, “The longer you’re out there, the more comfortable you get with the strike zone.
