Oklahoma State junior Vanessa Shippy showed her potential in a matchup with the USSSA Pride on Thursday.
A member of the Big 12 All-Freshman team in 2015 and the 2015-16 Co-Big 12 Player of the Year, Shippy’s future is bright, even when she’ll no longer be playing in orange and black.
The USSSA Pride professional team visited Stillwater Thursday night, for an exhibition matchup with Oklahoma State in front of a sold out crowd.
The Cowgirls seemed to be struck with nerves over the course of the game, however, Shippy was a shining star in the team’s otherwise lackluster performance.
