Cowboy Baseball didn’t have the best weekend in Phoenix.
After dropping Friday’s opener 6-1, the Cowboys just weren’t able to bounce back.
The Cowboys just could not hit the ball in the first game losing 6-1. They had four hits to the Lopes 12. Ryan Sluder had the Cowboys only run scored on an RBI double from Dustin Williams. Meanwhile the Lopes were able score six runs playing small ball with a double here and a single there. They scored early and never looked back. Tyler Buffett pitched four innings giving up five runs and eight hits.
