Second-half defense leads Cowboys past Wildcats

Oklahoma State walked into the locker room at halftime with zero points on the board for the first time since 2014.

It was down 12-0 but certainly not out of the game. The defense gathered around and talked about how it saw everything KSU could throw at them. Now, it was time to show what it could do.

OSU’s second-half defense helped mount its comeback to defeat KSU 20-18 on Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas.

Defensive coordinator Jim Knowles said it took some time to get used to KSU’s offense in the first half but they were able to recuperate at halftime.
